Extra Curricular Activities
Participation in extra curricular activities encourages physical and mental development and also fosters co-operation, integration, reliability and leadership. The school is committed to the development of the full range of each student's artistic, cultural, scientific, social and sporting talents and aptitudes.
There is a wide range of sports on offer, including hockey, basketball, athletics, tennis, soccer, cricket, camogie, swimming, badminton, volleyball, gaelic, golf and aerobics.
The school has a strong tradition in music education and aims to provide students with musical experiences that enhance their lives.
Choral singing for students at junior level with some students entering into Feis Ceoil and Feis Mhaitiú competitions.
Private individual lessons are available in piano, recorder, flute, guitar and singing.

Fundraising for a wide variety of charities, including Concern, St. Vincent de Paul, Trocaire, Amnesty International and To Russia With Love, is carried out throughout the year.

Other extra curricular activities include debating, public speaking, Young Scientists competition, Young Science Writers Competition, Science Olympiads, ISTA Science Competition, Environmental Consciousness raising competitions (Capture the Power, One Good Idea etc), production of school yearbook, involvement in schoolstationery shop, school credit union, Mini-Company development, prayer groups, student councils and many others.
