Assessment is an integral part of the teaching and learning process. Assessment within Transition Year is based on ongoing continuous assessment across the programme, encouraging self-directed learning. Assessment is facilitated by a credit system and student portfolio which is a body of work recorded in the journal.

At the end of the year each graduating student will receive a certificate.
The grade of the certificate will be determined by the credits awarded each term in:
End of Year Interviews begin in April of each academic year.
