Stand Up Awareness Week 2023
The 6th – 10th November marks Stand Up Awareness Week 2023 with BelongTo. This gives the opportunity to celebrate and recognise our LGBTQ+ community. It is a time when we show solidarity with young people and our colleagues to ensure they feel seen, heard and safe.
Students were encouraged to wear a colourful hair accessory on Friday to show solidarity and encourage inclusivity.
A wall of kindness was set up in the atrium where students and staff can leave a positive message for members of the LGBTQ+ community.
