Welcome Back
We would like to welcome staff and students back to Loreto Balbriggan. There is a great energy around the school as students begin the new academic year. We look forward to a year full of achievement, success and above all joy.
While we said a final goodbye to our 6th Years we said hello to a very special group of students….our new 1st Years. On Thursday, August 24th 240 very excited students arrived for their first day of secondary school. It is a pleasure to have the girls with us in Loreto and we look forward to six wonderful years with them.
The school will be closed for students on Friday 30th of August to facilitate whole staff planning.
The information evening for new incoming First Years will be held on Monday 9th of September. The meeting itself starts at 7.30pm, however students are invited along with their parents can come for a tour of the school. The tours will commence every 5 minutes from 6pm The information evening is for 6TH class ONLY. We cannot accommodate small children or buggies, apologies for the inconvenience.
Our Annual school Mass will take place on Tuesday 10th of September. It is an important school event in the liturgical year and all students are expected to attend.
On Thursday 19th of September we will have the AGM of our Parents’ Association The speaker on the night will be Declan Coyle author of ‘The Green Platform’ and he will talk about positive mental wellbeing with the challenges of the modern world.
