On Monday the Fifth year ‘Gamechangers’ group travelled  to the Trócaire Headoffices in Maynooth where they were presented with their Certificates for their win in the International Educational Gaming Competition that took place in Denmark before Christmas.

TY students have completed the first week of the three-week work experience programme. Students have secured work placements in a wide area of disciplines from An Garda Síochána, Media Production Companies Law Firms, Hospitals to Primary Schools.

The national SciFest finals were held in Marino College on Friday 22nd. Over ten thousand students entered the competition.

Transition year students received their Junior Certificate results in the school this Friday.  The results were excellent overall with some exceptional grades.  We are proud of each and every student who achieved her personal best.

On Tuesday we celebrated our Opening Year Mass. Thanks to Fr Dónal Toal who was the celebrant. The theme of the mass was ‘The future in our hands’.  Education is important in guiding us to be the best that we can be.
