This year’s Student Council annual SVP fundraiser day was an incredible success, raising over €3,500 for a very worthy cause this Christmas. The day was filled with festive cheer as students and staff came together to make a meaningful difference in the local community. The day’s events offered something for everyone. Students indulged in delicious treats from the bakesale and warmed up with cups of hot chocolate. Excitement filled the air as raffle tickets were sold, with many eager to see if they would walk away with one of the amazing prizes. Meanwhile, the Christmas costume competition added an extra dose of festive fun, with creativity and holiday spirit on full display.

The highlight of the morning was the festive carol singing, where students and staff serenaded commuters at the train station and greeted everyone at the school gate with their angelic voices. The Christmas tunes set the perfect tone for a day dedicated to giving back. A huge well done to the Student Council, staff, and everyone who participated or contributed to the day. Your efforts not only brought joy to the school community but also made a significant impact by supporting those in need in the local Balbriggan community through the SVP. Together, we’ve proven once again the power of coming together for a cause.
