Gaelbhratach TikTik Trip

Several members of the Gaelbhratach committee had an exciting opportunity to visit the TikTok offices today, where they immersed themselves in a day filled with creativity, learning, and fun. Students attended a panel discussion featuring Irish language influencers, who shared their insights on the power of social media in promoting the Irish language and culture. It was an eye-opening session that highlighted the influence and reach of digital platforms in modern language preservation and advocacy. After the panel discussion, the students had the chance to put their newfound knowledge into practice by creating their own videos on the spot. This hands-on experience allowed them to explore content creation while embracing and celebrating the Irish language in a fun and innovative way.

This trip was not only a fantastic opportunity for the Gaelbhratach committee members to engage with leading digital creators but also an inspiring reminder of the importance of keeping Gaeilge alive through modern platforms.
