Loreto Debates
On Friday we had 1 junior team and 2 senior teams represent the school in the annual inter-Loreto English debate competition in Loreto Foxrock. All 3 teams made fantastic speeches on motions regarding the challenges female politicians face compared to male, and paying students for achieving top grades. The debates were super and our speakers and should be commended for participating, some of whom debated in person for the first time.
While we didn’t progress to the finals, the teams and their supporters had a great time in Loreto Foxrock and are looking forward to next year’s competition.
