Transition Year News ‘From Foal to Race’
As part of the ‘From Foal to Race’ programme run by AgriAware, in conjunction with Equuip, Mr Doyle’s TY Biology class headed off to Leopardstown Racecourse for the National Hunt Chase Finale. The students have been learning about all aspects of the Irish Racing Industry and got to see up-close the Weigh Room, Race Track, Parade Ring the grounds and meet and talk with staff such as the Race Clerk, Operations Manager and Marketing and Events Manager.
