Friday 27th was ‘School Spirit Day’, a special day where we celebrate our Loreto ethos . Both students and staff got into the spirit of the day by dressing up for Halloween. Anne Boleyn, Despicable Me, the cast of Barbie and even the Sanderson Sistaaas from Hocus Pocus  made an appearance in the staffroom. Outside the staffroom, Men in Black, Peeky Blinders, Witches,  Ghosts ,Ghouls and Minions roamed the corridors and added so much to the fun atmosphere of the day. During the day students enjoyed face painting,  a whole school quiz, lunchtime disco and fun fair stalls. School Spirit Day reflects all that we do each day in Loreto Balbriggan fostering  a culture of wellbeing within the school and the positive impact a strong school spirit has on everyone in our school community.

The school will be closed from Friday 27th October at 4p.m and reopen on Monday, November 6th at 9.10 am. We hope that staff and students have a restful break and return re-energised for the winter term. We would also like to advise that applications for 1st year enrolments 24/25 will close at 4. p.m. on Friday, October 27th.
