As part of Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations, our Grúpa Cheoil played at break time. Members of staff and students make up the group and they put a smile on all our faces with their beautiful melodies. Míle Buíochas.
Sunflowers for Ukraine
Students in learning support classes created this beautiful mosaic to show their support for the people of Ukraine.
One of the student enterprise mini-companies sold tote bags on our non uniform day on Friday 11th and gave all of the earnings,€95 to our Red Cross appeal. Thank you so much for being so generous to such a worthy cause.
Donations for the Red Cross appeal are still coming in with the total now standing at €14,425. Once again we thank everyone for their kindness and generosity.
Special Visitors
This week some of our junior religion classes had special visitors of a Mexican mission priest and religious sisters. The students learned what a missionary does day to day by serving the people and their communities. The sisters also taught the students some traditional Mexican liturgical music.
The school will be closed Thursday 17th and Friday 18th March and will reopen on Monday 21st March at 9.10 am. We hope that the whole school community has a really great Lá Fhéile Padraig.
